What all we hear about this year’s Apple March event

We are now so close to March. Apple is expected to hold a March event this year where the company will be showcasing new products and new software updates. Last year, Apple introduced the iPhone SE, a 9.7 inch iPad Pro, iOS 9.3 and new Apple Watch bands. So, what are we going to see at March event this year? Let’s find out what we hear so far about Apple’s spring event.

  1. Where is the event going to take place?

Last year, Apple held its spring event at its headquarter in Cupertino (the Town Hall auditorium), a tiny venue compared to its annual September event. This year, Apple is believed to keep the event between them, meaning that the Town Hall auditorium will be ready for the event. Let’s wait and see.

  1. New iPhone models?

In 2016, Apple moved away from its traditional iPhone release cycle, as the Company launched its new 4-inch iPhone SE, which is specifically designed for those who craze for a smaller iPhone with comfortable one-handed operations. The device received mostly positive reviews from tech experts, who praised the device’s hardware upgrades.

This year, Apple is believed to bring a significant update to the 2016 smartphone, iPhone SE. Accordingly, the new iPhone SE may come with faster processor, more colors and much enhanced camera that may help it stand in line with the current iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. However, many found these rumors to be somewhat inaccurate, as Cupertino-based company has long been believed to release three iPhone models in September.

  1. iPad Pro

At last year’s event, Apple unveiled the 9.7 inch iPad Pro, a smaller version of the huge 12.9 inch model with nearly identical features and specs. This year, Apple is rumored to launch the second-generation of both versions that are fully powered by Apple’s A10 Fusion chipset.

Besides, rumors also said that the new 9.7 inch iPad Pro will replace the Air 2 lineup, meaning that Apple may lower the cost of entry for the Pro lineup this year. Other rumors said that Apple would release a 10.5 inch iPad this year with OLED display and compelling features. Let’s wait and see

  1. Apple Watch

Last March, we got the new Apple Watch bands. It seems like nothing will change this year. If you look forward to seeing the Apple Watch Series 3, you will be disappointed and realize that the Series 2 made its debut just six months ago. According to tech experts, we may see the Jet Black or metallic blue Apple Watch this year. Besides, Apple is expected to bring back the Hermès watch face, which was a fan-favorite in 2016.

  1. New Macs

Apple refreshed its MacBook Pro four months ago, so it’s way too early for the new Macs at this year’s event. However, many people believe that Apple will launch a new MacBook at the event, seeing how Apple announced the 12-inch MacBook at last year’s event.

Speaking of iMac, users are expecting to see a brand new machine with a Magic Keyboard, Touch Bar and Touch ID. Let’s wait and see.
