Steps to AirDrop from your iPhone or iPad to a Mac
Note that you can AirDrop files to your Mac from any app that includes sharing menu on your iPhone or iPad. In this post, we are going to use AirDrop to send files from an iPhone to a Mac via the Photos app.
Step one: First off, launch the Photos app from your home screen and then select all the photos you wish to AirDrop. After that, hit the Sharing icon to proceed
Step two: Next up, head back to your Mac and open a Finder window. After that, select AirDrop from left column and move to the next step
Step three: On your Mac, head to the bottom of the AirDrop panel and click the arrow down button next to Allow me to be discovered by (Make sure that you keep the Finder window active)
Step four: From the Sharing sheet that appears on your iPhone, you simply need to tap on AirDrop button at the top
Step five: Wait for a few minutes until you see your Mac icon in the Sharing sheet. Tap on it to start sending your files to your Mac
Step six: Once the process is completed, you can view your files in the users Downloads folder on your Mac.
