SmartCast-enabled TVs will also get AirPlay 2, but it remains unknown when we are seeing it. However, sources say that AirPlay 2 will come to SmartCast TVs in the second quarter of the year.

Apple is expected to announce a cheaper HomePod this year. The current HomePod stands out on the market despite its limited availability. Apple is expected to bring its smart speaker to more markets this year. Besides, the cheaper HomePod will mainly target emerging markets like India or Brazil. However, it will lack some premium features to achieve a lower price tag.

When it comes to new iPhones, there are a lot of contradictory rumors out there. The 2019 iPhone lineup will feature OLED displays, wireless charging, and design changes. Apple is expected to announce new iPhones in September 2019.
