iOS 9 brings more new changes than iOS 8. However, it still remains issues for iPhone/iPad. Today, we continue to show you the common issues on iOS 9 and how to fix them.
- How to Fix iOS 9 Data issues
iOS 9 users also complain about the cellular data issue. It can be tricky but there are some fixes for them.
Power your device down, slide to turn it off, and then reboot it. It is very simple but it can solve cellular issues.
If that restart does not help, try toggling Cellular Data off then turn on in the Settings app. To do that go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data > Toggle Off, wait for 10 seconds then toggle it back on.
If that still does not work, try activating Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds before turning it off. The Airplane Mode will kill all connections on your device. The feature can be found at the top of the Settings.
If the problem happens with LTE/4G, try turning LTE off for some minutes. Go to Settings > Cellular > Enable LTE > Off. Turn it back on when you feel ready.
- Fix iOS 9 Bluetooth issues
Bluetooth issues are common iOS problems and iOS 9 is not an exception. Here are a few solutions you can try.
First, you should reset the Network Settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Your device will forget the Bluetooth devices paired with your device and you will have to reconnect them.
Another way is to try forgetting the Bluetooth connection. Head to Settings > Bluetooth > Choose your connection > Tap Forget this Device. Then try to connect it again.
You can also reset all your settings to solve the Bluetooth problem. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. The process will take a few minutes and after it finishes, the settings will be restored to the factory defaults.
- Fix iOS 9 App Store issues
The complaints about issues with the App Store and downloading updates are also common on iOS 9. There are big problems and they affect iOS 9.0, iOS 9.1, iOS 9.2, and iOS 9.3 users.
There are two fixes for the problem, but they are temporary solutions.
The first solution requires a reset. To do that, hold down the Power button and the Home button. Many users say that it can get rid of the issue.
Another fix is rapidly to tap “Update” on an app before the “Open” symbol appears.
This issue also appears on older iOS updates and it simply go away after a short period. Therefore, if nothing works, you should be patient.
- Fix iOS 9 iMessage issues
The problems with iMessage also happen after users update to iOS 9. If you are facing with iMessage problems, the first thing you should do is to toggle the feature off and turn it on again.
Go to your Settings > Messages > Toggle iMessage off then toggle on.
If that quick fix does not work, please reboot your device.
If a reboot does not work, head to your settings and reset Network Settings. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will forget your connections, so make sure you have the Wi-Fi passwords handy.
- Fix iOS 9 issues if nothing else works
If you are facing with Apple Music problems on iOS 9, you can head to the Apple Music forum for the discussions.
You can also try some other options. First, downgrade to an older version. This option is only opened for a limited time so you need to move fast. Apple just keeps for one or two weeks.
If nothing works, you should try a factory reset or a restore from a backup. This will delete everything and return your device back to the way as it was when you bought the device.
To do a full factory reset on iPhone/ iPad, go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
If you cannot fix any of those problems, you should contact with a nearest Apple Store.
