Steps to record FaceTime call on your iPhone using Mac

In this tutorial, we will run you through the steps to record Facetime call on your iPhone. Before we get started, be sure that you are running iOS 10 or newer.

Steps to record FaceTime call on your iPhone using a Mac

Step one: First off, you need to connect your iPhone to a Mac using lighting cable. Once you are done, you need to open QuickTime on your Mac to proceed

Step two: Next up, head to QuickTime player menu, click on File and select New Movie Recording from the drop-down menu

Step three: Once you are done, click on the arrow down button next to the red record button. After that, select your iPhone from the pull-down menu and click your iPhone under Microphone section

Step four: Head to your iPhone and you will see your iPhone’s screen on your Mac. (Make sure that you have already turned up the Volume bar in QuickTime on your Mac so you can hear your call)

Step five: Once you are done, head back to your iPhone and launch FaceTime from your home screen

Step six: You now need to hit the record button in QuickTime on your Mac and start your FaceTime call. Once done, make sure that you hit the Stop button

Step seven: To save your recorded video, head to QuickTime player menu, click on File and select Save from the drop-down menu

Step eight: From the menu, enter the name for your recording then select where you want to save your video and hit Save button.
